Abnormal AI is hiring a bilingual (English/French) Mid-Market Account Executive to drive new business growth in the Quebec market. This is a full-cycle sales role where you will own the entire sales process from prospecting through deal closure within a defined Quebec territory, targeting mid-market organizations with fewer than 3,000 mailboxes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling Abnormal's cybersecurity solutions across your Quebec territory to exceed new annual recurring revenue quota
- Managing the complete sales cycle for mid-market accounts, from initial conversations through contract signing and upselling
- Prospecting and generating new business opportunities to build sufficient pipeline to hit sales targets
- Collaborating with Customer Success to ensure timely renewals and identify expansion opportunities
- Acting as a voice for customers and prospects with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing
- Communicating fluently in both English and French, adapting to customer preferences and regional business norms
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions
- 4 years in an individual contributor sales role
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Proven ability to generate pipeline across multiple channels (prospecting, marketing, referrals, partners)
- Strong qualification and ROI-driven value presentation skills
- Disciplined execution of repeatable sales processes with excellent time management
- Ability to navigate internal and customer buying processes effectively
- Experience gathering and applying customer insights to improve execution
- Comfort thriving in early-stage, resource-constrained environments
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams
Nice-to-have qualifications include MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodology training and familiarity with Quebec's business culture and regulatory landscape, including Bill 96 French language requirements.
