Datadog is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and surrounding markets. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting through closing—targeting mid-to-large organizations. Your primary focus is converting inbound leads and strategically hunting new customers, with a particular emphasis on engaging Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical practitioners (SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps teams).
Key responsibilities include: identifying and qualifying net-new opportunities, leveraging sales tools like Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg for targeted prospecting, multi-threading into complex organizational structures, collaborating with Sales Development Representatives to build pipeline, managing negotiations, and conducting on-site technical demonstrations. You'll follow a well-defined sales methodology and work closely with internal stakeholders to clearly articulate Datadog's value proposition.

You bring 3+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of hunting and closing net-new logos. Fluency in German is required. You are strategic in mapping and breaking into large-scale organizations, bold on the phone, creative in outreach, and comfortable with up to 30% travel to client sites. The role operates on a hybrid model with offices in Amsterdam and Dublin, emphasizing collaboration and office culture while supporting work-life balance.
