NerdWallet Small Business is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to manage a high-volume, fast-paced sales pipeline focused on small business funding opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in rapid-cycle sales environments where deals close within 1–2 days. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the complete sales process from initial outreach through deal closure - Conduct phone-based outreach to small business owners and assess deal viability quickly - Become an expert on NerdWallet's product suite and funding options - Collaborate with lenders in the NerdWallet Small Business network to identify opportunities and serve as a liaison between lenders and business owners - Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales goals - Manage a high-volume pipeline while tracking performance against KPIs and sales metrics Required Experience: - Minimum 1+ year of sales experience - 6+ months in the funding industry (merchant cash advance, small business lending, business financing, or commercial lending) - Proven ability to manage pipelines with consistent KPI performance - Strong communication skills and ability to multitask and prioritize independently - Comfort working with business owners from diverse backgrounds - Thrives in fast-paced inside sales environments - Ability to think on your feet and handle challenging conversations - Coachable and able to implement feedback quickly Workplace & Flexibility: This role is based in New York, NY, with an in-office requirement during the initial training period (typically months 1–3). After successfully completing training and meeting performance standards, employees gain the flexibility to work remotely up to 20% of the month from anywhere in the continental US.
