Salary: USD 120,000 - 160,000 / annual

Bicycle Health is a telemedicine platform specializing in evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder using buprenorphine. The company combines medication-assisted treatment (MOUD) with behavioral healthcare, drug screening, therapy, and peer support through a single app, aiming to increase access to care for the millions of Americans struggling with opioid misuse. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will build, enhance, and maintain the technology platform that patients use to receive high-quality telehealth care. You'll work across web and mobile applications, contributing to a mission-driven codebase that directly impacts patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: - Implementing, testing, and maintaining critical product features using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js - Partnering with product managers, physicians, and staff to build solutions that improve patient experience - Building and maintaining features across the entire ecosystem: mobile applications, TypeScript backend services, and cloud-based data layers - Contributing to a collaborative, low-ego environment with openness and integrity - Delivering reliable, high-quality code while maintaining performance standards - Embracing Lean Startup principles to simplify technology and processes - Participating in code reviews and shared learning sessions Required qualifications: - 3-5 years of professional experience building and maintaining web or mobile-responsive applications and backend services - Proficiency with React and Node.js; strong TypeScript experience highly preferred - Experience with GraphQL or Express and designing/consuming RESTful APIs - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments - Understanding of iterative agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and writing testable, maintainable code - Proactive troubleshooting approach and ownership of discrete features or modules - Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet for frequent video conferencing Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 annually plus equity.
