Aledade is seeking a Michigan Payer Enrollment Operations Manager to lead the administrative operations supporting independent primary care practices in value-based care arrangements. In this role, you will partner with IPA leadership and internal departments to oversee payer contracts, contract membership, payment distribution, and client services delivery. You'll manage relationships with payers, practices, and internal teams to help clients succeed in pay-for-performance programs and risk-sharing arrangements.
You will lead a team that may include an Operations Specialist and Membership Associates. Key responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal departments, payers, and client practices
• Partnering with Market Manager and IPA Operations Director on strategic initiatives in payer contracting, provider recruiting, population health management, and health information technology
• Monitoring payer enrollments, reports, and payments
• Leading payment distribution, reporting, and tracking
• Developing and monitoring KPIs related to IPA operations
• Providing oversight of care management programs and third-party care management functions
• Mentoring and managing direct reports, including Operations Specialist and Membership Associates
• Overseeing membership processes for completeness and accuracy
• Responding to customer queries regarding membership, health plan contracts, and incentive programs
• Coordinating meetings with payers for contract administration and issue resolution
• Conducting internal team meetings to develop client strategy and implementation plans
• Overseeing client communication and education materials
• Supporting recruitment efforts with growth department and IPA Operations Director

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent education/experience combination)
• 8+ years of experience with a health plan, physician organization, physician office, or similar employer in progressively more responsible positions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Ability to lead, persuade, and influence, particularly in customer relationship development
• Professional business manner with tact and diplomacy
• Strong analytical and consultative problem-solving approach
• Project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
• High motivation with superior organization skills to handle simultaneous projects
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Google suites preferred
• Prior management experience preferred
