Intelligence is a product lab company building DesignArena, a benchmark platform for evaluating AI model capabilities across design, web dev, game dev, and multimedia generation. The platform has grown to 5.2M+ users across 192 countries in 8 months and is backed by Tier 1 VCs including Index Ventures, Y Combinator, and others. The founding team is exceptionally talent-dense with members from Harvard and Berkeley. As a Member of Technical Staff in Product Engineering, you will own Design Arena end-to-end across the full stack. You'll drive product strategy and execution, improving user experiences while building the distributed systems and platform infrastructure that power millions of real-time interactions. The role offers flexibility to focus on infrastructure and backend problems, frontend features, or a hybrid approach depending on your strengths and interests. Key responsibilities include shipping new product capabilities, running A/B tests and experiments to optimize human-model interaction experiences, collaborating with the world-class founding designer, and continuously iterating based on user feedback. You'll own features and systems from design through deployment, ensuring reliability, performance, and low latency at scale. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience building great products—either user-facing applications, backend services, or distributed systems running in production. You should care deeply about performance, reliability, and user experience. The company values end-to-end product ownership and is looking for someone excited by improving existing products, shipping new features, and solving real user problems. Bonus points for bringing a portfolio of products you've built and are proud of. The role is based at Levi's Plaza in San Francisco with visa sponsorship and relocation support available. The work schedule is Sunday-Friday, giving you Saturdays off. Compensation includes competitive salary and meaningful equity at a stage where ownership truly matters.
