Anchorage Digital is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Trading Solutions team as a strategic partner embedded in product development from discovery through launch. The role combines legal expertise with a builder's mindset to support the company's institutional crypto platform offerings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic legal guidance across product development cycles, from conception through market launch
- Lead structuring, drafting, and negotiation of counterparty agreements including electronic trading, derivatives, and financing arrangements
- Conduct regulatory research and establish policies to ensure compliance across crypto trading venues, prime brokers, custodians, and payment rails
- Coordinate across internal teams and manage relationships with external counsel
- Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership on complex regulatory frameworks, reputational risks, and compliance obligations
- Navigate evolving digital asset regulations and institutional market requirements
The ideal candidate brings experience in financial services law, trading infrastructure, or digital assets regulation. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment, and have strong negotiation and communication skills.
