Twilio is seeking a Marketing Strategy and Analytics Manager to join its global marketing analytics team. This role bridges senior business partnership and applied data science, requiring someone who can act as a trusted analytics advisor to marketing leadership while maintaining fluency in Media Mix Modeling (MMM) methodology.
You will own end-to-end analyses of funnel performance, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI. Key responsibilities include: serving as a strategic analytics partner to global and regional marketing leaders, translating business questions into actionable analyses that inform budget and channel decisions; applying and extending MMM outputs from the data science team, including scenario and what-if analyses tailored to regional contexts; building and maintaining incremental analyses (geo-lift tests, channel diagnostics, funnel analytics) that validate and enrich model-driven recommendations; partnering closely with the central MMM data science team to ensure model assumptions reflect business reality; writing production-quality Python and SQL for data pulls, analysis, and light modeling; building reusable tools and dashboards that scale insights across the team; and crafting compelling narratives and presentations for senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance.
Required qualifications: 6+ years in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data science with a proven track record of influencing marketing strategy through data; strong proficiency in Python and SQL for analysis with comfort working with large, complex marketing datasets; hands-on exposure to Media Mix Modeling concepts and practical experience with at least one MMM tool or framework (Robyn, Meridian, or equivalent); demonstrated ability to translate technical analyses into clear business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders; and experience with B2B or B2C marketing funnel analytics.
This is a remote-first role, though ad-hoc in-person attendance may be requested for team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings. Twilio values diverse backgrounds and encourages applications from non-traditional career paths.
