This Sales Development Representative role is part of Verkada's Inside Sales program, which differs from traditional SDR models by having marketing automate cold outreach, allowing reps to focus on high-quality conversations with senior prospects. Representatives typically set 80+ demos per month with ~45% conversion to opportunities.
Key responsibilities include qualifying and converting high-volume marketing leads into sales-ready prospects, generating meetings for Account Executives, and providing detailed discovery and lead distribution. You'll partner closely with the marketing team to provide campaign feedback and strategic input. The role requires expertise in Verkada's product suite—video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management—and proficiency with Salesforce and sales enablement tools.
You'll be expected to achieve quota targets, provide insights on lead metrics, and operate as a product expert when engaging with prospects. The ideal candidate brings B2B enterprise sales experience, fluency in German (required for this London-based position), excellent communication skills, high energy, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and ambition to become a top sales performer.
