Trigger.dev is an open-source platform and managed cloud service that enables developers to build and run production-grade AI agents reliably at scale. The company provides an SDK and infrastructure for async task execution, addressing a critical need as AI adoption accelerates.
You will own growth marketing at Trigger.dev, focusing on influencer partnerships, GEO/SEO strategy, and high-visibility campaigns designed to drive developer awareness and adoption. Rather than spreading effort across multiple channels, you'll pick one or two areas and go deep, with real budget and autonomy to execute both steady channel work and ambitious "big swing" ideas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning influencer marketing end-to-end: discovering partnerships via platforms like Plug.dev, managing relationships, and measuring impact
- Driving GEO/SEO strategy and execution to build organic growth
- Planning and executing high-impact campaigns (e.g., SF billboards, premium merch sends to YC founders) with meaningful budget
- Running targeted paid spend campaigns that support broader initiatives, kept deliberately focused
- Contributing to product-led growth efforts: creating code examples, blog articles, videos, and social content
- Engaging with the community on Discord and GitHub, supporting customers and reviewing contributions
The team is small with a flat hierarchy. You'll operate autonomously with trust to execute, but with quick access to support when needed. The company values continuous learning, async working, and taking time to recharge. Everyone contributes across functions—marketing, product, community, and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS

- End-to-end experience running influencer marketing campaigns, from outreach through measurement
- Track record in GEO/SEO or organic growth channels
- Comfort pitching and executing bold, unconventional campaign ideas (not just optimizing existing playbooks)
- Ability to work with real budget and ownership, prioritizing depth over breadth
- If remote, must be within CET to ET timezones (GMT+1:00 to GMT-5:00); in-person events arranged throughout the year
Strong fit if you have:
- Early-stage startup experience as marketing's first or only hire
- Portfolio of "big swing" campaigns you can reference
- Familiarity with influencer marketplace platforms like Plug.dev
- Prior experience in developer tools or technical/developer-facing products
- Based in UK and able to join the team in London
- Active social media presence
