Scopely, a leading video game and interactive entertainment company, is seeking a Marketing Intelligence & AI Automation Manager to join the Creative Intelligence team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis. This hands-on individual contributor role sits within Performance Marketing and focuses on leveraging AI tools and data analytics to drive marketing and user acquisition strategy across Scopely's game portfolio.
You will own three core areas of responsibility:
1. Marketing Intelligence and Reporting: Use AI tools (Codex, Claude), Looker MCP, and Big Data platforms to automate monthly performance reporting, competitive analysis, and benchmarking. Translate complex creative and marketing data into clear, executive-ready insights and actionable recommendations. Proactively identify reporting gaps and recommend new solutions that enable better creative decision-making. Partner with stakeholders to prioritize high-impact business questions and continuously improve reporting frameworks.
2. Data Access, Partnership, and Quality Assurance: Identify, connect to, and query internal and external data sources needed to answer key business questions. Develop deep familiarity with data schemas, metrics, dimensions, and fields available through Looker MCP and other connected sources. Validate AI-generated outputs and establish quality controls to ensure insights are complete, accurate, and data-supported. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and metric issues, resolving them independently or translating them into actionable requests for the Marketing Analytics team.
3. AI Automation and Enablement: Identify inefficient or manual workflows and recommend where AI, automation, or other tools can deliver meaningful value while adhering to company standards for data privacy, security, governance, and responsible AI use. Build scalable AI workflows, agents, prompts, templates, data connections, and reporting processes. Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and proactively recommend the most effective tools and use cases for the team. Document effective workflows and help the broader team adopt AI through practical guidance and training.
You bring marketing and analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and comfort solving ambiguous problems. You have hands-on experience using AI tools like Codex or Claude to build reports, automations, agents, or internal workflows. You're proficient connecting to and querying data using SQL, APIs, MCP connections, or similar methods. You have familiarity with Looker, data schemas, and business intelligence environments. You can translate marketing performance or competitive data into clear insights and actionable recommendations. You possess strong analytical and business judgment, including the ability to validate AI-generated outputs and recognize what data may be missing. You're comfortable working independently through ambiguity and proactively identifying problems and opportunities. You're creative, curious, and resourceful, with a focus on developing practical, scalable solutions. You have strong cross-functional communication skills and can partner effectively with Marketing Analytics and nontechnical stakeholders.
