Machina Labs is building intelligent, software-defined factories that produce complex metal structures directly from digital design. Backed by Lockheed Martin, Toyota, and NVIDIA, the company serves defense, aerospace, and advanced mobility programs.
This is a unique events and experiential marketing role focused on transforming Machina's factories, robots, and precision-formed metal into compelling physical experiences. You will own strategy and execution for all field marketing activities including factory tours, trade shows, product launches, VIP experiences, and original activations. The role requires creative ambition paired with operational excellence in complex, high-friction environments where engineering, production, logistics, and compliance all matter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute strategy for factory tours, trade shows, guerrilla marketing, partner events, product launches, and community days
- Transform factories and products into compelling physical experiences both onsite and in the field
- Build out the factory showroom and create repeatable experiences for customers, partners, and decision-makers
- Create distinctive activations tailored to defense and automotive audiences, from technical experts to senior executives
- Serve as creative and operational lead across marketing, collaborating with brand, content, communications, PR, social, and digital teams
- Partner with Business Development and Executive Leadership to scale factory visits and demonstrations into a customer engagement engine
- Build, lead, and scale an events organization including external production partners, vendors, and contractors
- Collaborate with production, engineering, facilities, and compliance teams to execute ambitious experiences safely and within regulatory requirements
- Support adjacent marketing initiatives including digital growth, community building, and partner marketing
This is not a conventional events role. You'll work in complex environments where resourcefulness, organization, creative ambition, and relentless focus on business outcomes are essential. The right person sees a factory floor as a showroom, a robot as a centerpiece, and formed metal as an opportunity to tell a story.

- Demonstrated ability to build trust and deliver results with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers
- Comfortable navigating complex physical environments, demanding logistics, competing priorities, and unexpected challenges
- Resourceful with budgets; finds creative ways to use company products, people, and capabilities to achieve greater impact
- Equally comfortable setting strategy, managing details, and rolling up sleeves to execute
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in robotics, AI, defense, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or industrial technology
- Experience leading activations for complex B2B and B2G audiences, including enterprise and government buying processes
