Booksy is a rapidly scaling, cloud-based marketplace connecting independent service providers (beauty, wellness, creative professionals) with customers across Europe and beyond. The company operates as a two-sided platform enabling providers to get booked, get paid, and build loyal client bases, while customers discover and book appointments instantly.
As a Marketing Data Analyst reporting to the Marketing Analytics Manager, you will serve as a strategic co-pilot to the Global Growth and Performance Marketing leadership team. Your core responsibilities include owning performance diagnostics and reporting (weekly and monthly business reviews) across all marketing channels, leveraging Looker and BigQuery to diagnose not just what happened in campaigns, but why performance shifted. You'll partner directly with marketing leadership on critical media mix and budget allocation decisions, design and execute incrementality and causal impact experiments to quantify true marketing lift, and collaborate with econometrics partners to calibrate Marketing Mix Models. Additionally, you'll champion self-service analytics by scaling the governed Looker semantic layer, enabling regional teams to independently answer their own questions.
You'll need extensive commercial analytics experience with strong SQL skills and hands-on querying of complex datasets in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred). Expert-level proficiency with modern BI platforms—ideally Looker with LookML—is essential, including building governed semantic layers and intuitive self-serve dashboards. A solid grounding in marketing science is required: you must understand attribution vs. incrementality, Marketing Mix Modeling, and causal inference methods such as geo-holdout or go-dark testing. You should have a proven track record translating complex data and statistical models into clear, compelling narratives for senior non-technical stakeholders. Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2+ level) is required, as English is the company language for all business communications and this role has significant global stakeholder exposure.
Helpful additional experience includes commercial fluency with revenue, margin, CPA, ROI, and LTV:CAC metrics; collaboration with external econometric or data science partners on MMM calibration; and familiarity with modern CRM/data stacks such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Data 360.
