Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Fury team builds cutting-edge autonomous air vehicles (Collaborative Combat Aircraft) designed to fly alongside crewed fighters, including flight vehicles, static equipment, and ground equipment. This role focuses on manufacturing and industrializing aircraft-class hardware from prototype through rate production. As a Manufacturing Engineer on Fury, you will own a product area's manufacturing, driving manufacturability improvements and building scalable processes for aircraft-class structural and electromechanical hardware. Key responsibilities include: - Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain for a product, from prototype through rate production - Develop tooling for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts - Develop process flows that break complex assemblies into logical subassemblies and sub-processes - Author build documentation, including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements - Drive rapid iteration and industrialization of hardware designs - Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize manufacturability - Implement manufacturing best practices for composites, structures, and electromechanical integration You will work on advanced aerospace manufacturing challenges, including aircraft structures, composite materials, and complex electromechanical integration at scale. The role requires hands-on involvement in transitioning designs from prototype to production, with emphasis on quality, efficiency, and scalability in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
