Infinity Constellation is building independent, high-margin business units powered by AI technology. The company's thesis: a small team of credentialed practitioners paired with an AI backbone can deliver services that traditionally required dozens of people. You will found and lead Infinity's Forensic Accounting business unit as Managing Director. You are the credentialed expert whose name stands behind the work and the relationship-holder whom referring attorneys follow. You will build a practice that carries a much larger caseload per practitioner than traditional firms, with Infinity providing tools that remove manual work from your week. Forensic accounting sits at the intersection of accounting and litigation: investigating financial records and telling the story of what happened for attorneys, courts, and clients. Work includes business valuation for sales, divorce settlements, or disputes. Engagements typically come through long-standing referral relationships with attorneys, and practitioners actively manage a dozen or more matters simultaneously. The field's bottleneck is manual work—practitioners often re-key bank statements and credit card records by hand because existing tools are unreliable or priced for large firms only. Infinity is building tools to close that gap. Responsibilities: - Lead the Forensic Accounting business unit end-to-end: strategy, client relationships, quality, and financial performance - Originate and grow the book: bring existing attorney relationships and referral networks to Infinity, expand into new engagements across forensic investigation and business valuation - Deliver and sign off on expert work: handle analysis, strategy, and judgment calls on matters; put your name behind work including expert reports and testimony - Direct the tooling: work with engineering and product teams to define automation priorities, including turning discovery documents, bank records, and financial statements into structured data and templated report generation - Set the quality bar: define defensible, court-ready work product standards and review AI-assisted output before client delivery - Build the team: hire and develop supporting staff as caseload grows, keeping the team deliberately lean - Collaborate across Infinity: partner with other business unit leaders on cross-selling to shared clients This is an entrepreneurial role with real upside. You shape the service offering, the team, and the tooling roadmap, and share directly in the value you create. REQUIREMENTS: - Credential and experience: credentialed forensic accounting practitioner with deep experience delivering litigation support, fraud and financial investigation, and/or business valuation, with expert-witness experience - A portable book of business: genuine, existing relationships with referring attorneys who will follow you, or credibility to build that book quickly - Senior practitioner or already independent: either a senior non-partner deep in delivering the service today and ready to build a practice with real upside, or a practitioner who has already gone independent and wants to be super-powered by Infinity's backbone, tooling, and capital - Frustrated by the pace of your current firm: you see how much of your week goes to work that doesn't require your judgment and want to change that - A point of view on automation: you know exactly which parts of the work (data entry, document review, report assembly) should move to an AI-driven workflow first - Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building a practice from the ground up, energized by rebuilding the firm itself rather than building software to sell to existing firms - Location: based in the United States (business units currently serve US clients only)
