Infinity Constellation is building independent, high-margin business units powered by AI technology. Each unit pairs a credentialed practitioner with Infinity's platform to deliver professional services at scale—doing what traditionally required dozens of people with a small, focused team.
You will found and lead Infinity's Environmental Consulting business unit. Environmental consulting covers compliance and permitting work for physical development projects: wetland delineation, habitat surveys, contamination assessment, and regulatory compliance auditing for pipelines, transmission lines, real estate, and industrial sites. The work is currently manual and fragmented; Infinity is building tools and a single point of accountability to modernize the industry.
In this entrepreneurial role, you will:
- Lead the business unit end-to-end: strategy, client relationships, quality, and financial performance.
- Define your niche: choose which environmental sub-specialty and buyer segments the unit serves.
- Originate and grow: bring existing client relationships to Infinity and expand across a wider roster.
- Own the outcome: serve as the single accountable contact from site survey through regulatory filing, eliminating subcontractor chains.
- Set compliance standards: define what a complete, jurisdiction-correct report contains and review all deliverables.
- Direct tooling development: partner with Infinity's engineering and product teams to build a centralized source for jurisdiction-specific requirements, streamlined field data capture, and automated report drafting.
- Shape the team: determine the right staffing model for your niche, from solo practitioner to small field teams where AI cannot substitute.
- Collaborate across Infinity: cross-sell with other business unit leaders as the portfolio grows.
Infinity handles HR, accounting, finance, and data processing, freeing your time for clients and technical judgment. You will have dedicated engineering and product resources focused on solving the problems that cost you time today.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Substantial hands-on experience in a specific environmental discipline, with technical credentials and standing that regulators and clients require.
- Existing book of business or relationships to build one quickly.
- Deep command of local, state, and/or federal regulatory requirements for your niche, including jurisdiction-specific variations.
- Either a senior non-partner practitioner currently delivering the service and ready to build a practice with real upside, or an already-independent practitioner seeking to scale without rebuilding a firm.
- Clear point of view on which work (jurisdictional research, field data capture, report drafting) should move to AI-driven workflows first.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: energized by rebuilding the firm itself rather than building software to sell to existing firms.
- Based in the United States (business units currently serve US clients only).
