Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare that spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and dictation to eliminate documentation burden, intelligent agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims. The company serves 500+ healthcare organizations, 500,000+ clinicians, handles $25B+ in annual claims, and recently raised $70M at a $7B valuation.
As Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will own partnerships that bring Commure's AI into more healthcare organizations and extend its technology, data, and content capabilities. Your portfolio will span major EHR vendors, independent software vendors (ISVs), data and technology partners, systems integrators, resellers, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
You will turn partnerships into revenue and new capabilities—some building repeatable pipeline, others driving 0-to-1 transformation to open new markets and reposition Commure. You'll own each partnership from first conversation through live deployment. Starting as a hands-on builder, you'll shape how the function grows while reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (a founder) who reports to the CEO. You'll have autonomy and company-wide visibility, working across sales, product, engineering, operations, customer success, marketing, legal, and finance.
Key responsibilities include: managing relationships with major EHR vendors including executive engagement and API/integration priorities; driving partner-sourced pipeline and revenue across enterprise and mid-market accounts; building channel, systems integrator, and reseller partnerships with signed agreements and joint sales execution; identifying strategic ISV, data, technology, and content partners that expand Commure's capabilities; planning and executing at EHR user group meetings and industry conferences; and tracking sourced and assisted pipeline, conversion rates, revenue, and live deployments with weekly leadership updates.
The role is hybrid, onsite up to 3 days per week at the Mountain View or San Francisco office. Anticipated travel is 10–25% for partner visits, user groups, conferences, and joint customer meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–8 years of professional experience, including building SaaS or technology partnerships (channel and alliance sales, consulting, investment banking, corporate development, product management, or engineering with substantial partnership experience)
- Ability to earn trust with senior executives and turn relationships into active partnerships
- Executive communication skills: develop models, briefings, and compelling product presentations for C-suite, boards, and other audiences (virtual and in-person)
- Technical fluency to engage with internal and partner teams on high-level architecture, APIs, and joint integration plans
- Ability to review contracts in depth and co-draft business terms with legal while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for helping healthcare providers embrace AI and interest in using approved AI tools in your own work (contract review support, presentations, technical diagrams, dashboards, KPI reporting)
- Strategic judgment on where Commure should partner, build, or wait, grounded in healthcare technology and AI landscape knowledge (or curiosity to build it fast); comfort with ambiguity and ability to turn early partnership ideas into new products, channels, or markets
- Healthcare or digital health experience is a plus but not required
