Intellect is a leading mental health benefits platform serving over 4 million people across 100+ countries. The company partners with major employers (Dell, ByteDance, Visa, Shell, McDonald's) and governments to deliver culturally relevant, accessible mental healthcare at scale.
You will drive Intellect's expansion into Australia's insurance and workers' compensation ecosystem. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on commercial ownership, spanning opportunity identification through to partnership launch and growth.
Key responsibilities:
**Identify opportunities and develop propositions:** Analyze the Australian insurance, workers' compensation, claims-service, broker, employer and self-insurer landscape. Understand their needs, funding models and buying processes. Lead customer discovery to identify gaps in mental health and psychological injury support. Develop commercial cases, pricing models and partnership structures with input from clinical, operations and finance teams.
**Build partnerships and win business:** Develop relationships with decision-makers across the insurance and workers' compensation ecosystem. Build and manage a qualified pipeline with clear priorities and revenue visibility. Own proposals, tenders, negotiations and commercial agreements to convert opportunities into pilots, programmes and longer-term partnerships.
**Launch, learn and grow:** Coordinate programme launches with Clinical, Product and Operations teams. Track commercial performance and work with delivery teams to demonstrate outcomes and expand successful partnerships. Recommend capabilities, partnerships and investment needed to support repeatable growth.
You will initially operate as an individual contributor with access to Intellect's existing capabilities and specialist teams. As the business develops, there is potential to expand your remit and leadership responsibilities.

- Hands-on ownership; comfortable working through ambiguity, progressing opportunities personally and coordinating across teams
- Clear communication and analytical ability; can turn complex information into persuasive proposals and focused action
- Background may be in partnerships, business development, proposition development, commercial strategy, industry operating roles, or consulting with substantial relevant sector experience and evidence of driving commercial outcomes
- Existing industry relationships and mental health/psychological injury experience valued but not required
