Snowflake is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to lead Finance Analytics, a role at the intersection of analytics engineering, data product development, and applied AI. This is a people leadership position responsible for building and scaling both the team and systems that power next-generation Finance operations. Key responsibilities include: - Setting vision and driving the roadmap for Finance Analytics aligned to business priorities and long-term data strategy, translating ambiguous business problems into scalable data products and AI solutions. - Building and leading a high-performing team of analysts, analytics engineers, and data product builders. You'll hire, develop, and mentor team members while establishing best practices across data modeling, experimentation, and product development. - Owning data products end-to-end, overseeing design, development, and adoption of dashboards, data products, and internal applications used to run Finance. Solutions must be scalable, reliable, and embedded in business workflows. - Driving AI-powered transformation by leading development of intelligent workflows, automation, copilots, agents, and decision-support tools that increase leverage across Finance. You'll identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI and automation to core financial and operational processes. - Strengthening the data foundation by partnering with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality, well-modeled, and governed datasets. You'll establish standards for data quality, documentation, and discoverability. - Influencing decision-making at scale by delivering actionable insights and shaping strategic decisions through data. You'll act as a thought partner to Finance leadership. - Championing operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and driving system- and process-level improvements. Required qualifications: 8+ years in analytics, data engineering, BI, or related fields with 2+ years in people management. Deep expertise in SQL and building scalable, production-grade data models. Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). Strong proficiency in Python or similar languages. Experience building data products, not just dashboards. Demonstrated experience applying AI/LLMs to real business problems. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience supporting Finance organizations. Preferred: ERP, financial planning, or business planning systems experience. Background in finance, business operations, or analytics teams. Familiarity with agile development practices. Snowflake values builder-leaders who can set strategy while staying close to the work, think in terms of user adoption and impact, design scalable solutions, move quickly with bias for action, actively explore emerging AI capabilities, and maintain user obsession in understanding stakeholder needs.
