Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manager of Proposal & Capture to lead the development and delivery of major proposals for government and military customers. You will be at the center of Anduril's growth engine, partnering with stakeholders across business development, legal, finance, engineering, program management, and executive teams to win new business.
In this role, you will lead proposal efforts to win Anduril new business, spending the majority of your time constructing narratives and documents that convey Anduril's value proposition to government customers. You will become a subject matter expert in your assigned business line portfolio and partner with business and technical stakeholders to execute capture, pricing, and outreach strategies through proposals, white papers, and other materials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and writing responses to government and customer requests for white papers, product information, quotes, and proposals
- Developing and maintaining strategic pricing across Anduril's products and business lines
- Creating and owning the proposal process with a focus on continuous improvement
- Developing and curating a content library of prose, briefs, and graphics for use across the business
- Coordinating with engineering teams to accurately represent the company's technology to potential customers
- Monitoring and flagging potential opportunities to key internal stakeholders
- Building processes where none exist and managing competing priorities with overlapping schedules
Anduril's Proposals & Capture Team is responsible for championing major proposals and partnering across the organization to close deals. REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to generate large documents on short timelines
- Demonstrated familiarity with cost accounting principles, pricing methodologies, and Excel to analyze costs, develop competitive pricing strategies, and work with financial models
- Significant experience with the government acquisitions process
- Experience and aptitude in building processes where none exist
- Ability to clearly articulate information, understand business needs, and build relationships across the organization
- Comfort working with diverse disciplines including design, engineering, program management, supply chain, and finance
- U.S. Person status required (position requires access to export-controlled data)
