Recently acquired by Admiral (May 2026), Flock combines startup energy with the backing of the UK's leading motor insurer. The company is growing rapidly with ambitious expansion plans. As Broker Development Manager, you will lead Flock's distribution strategy through broker partnerships. You'll manage a panel of key strategic brokers, driving mutual growth and long-term success while delivering high volumes of broker submissions to support ambitious growth targets. Your responsibilities include: - Serve as the primary face of Flock for key broker partners, building and maintaining strategic relationships - Build and grow the broker panel by onboarding new partners at pace and maximizing their commercial potential - Develop and execute data-driven account growth strategies to drive sustained performance - Proactively engage brokers to promote Flock's appetite and proposition as the company expands into new sectors - Support day-to-day trading activity and help brokers win and retain business - Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver shared growth objectives - Maintain strong broker advocacy by being visible, responsive, and passionate about Flock's product and mission - Leverage AI tools daily—from broker research and meeting preparation to pipeline analysis—to maximize time spent on high-value relationships rather than administrative tasks The role is based in Leeds with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (Central London location). Client and broker site visits can substitute for office days. REQUIREMENTS: Essential: - Minimum 5 years of experience managing broker relationships within the insurance sector with a reputable standing in the industry - Energy and innovation; ability to work fast, spot opportunity, and solve problems - Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving business growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams - Existing network of broker contacts enabling rapid integration and immediate impact - Exceptional understanding of the commercial broker marketplace, competitor carriers, broker business models, and processes - Ability to deliver a consultative sales process, aligning value propositions with broker needs - Comfortable using AI in daily work (research, meeting prep, account analysis) and curious about additional applications Preferred: - Experience building broker networks in a Commercial Motor Fleet setting - Broker distribution background with an active panel in the commercial insurance market - Experience successfully distributing new technologies and products to brokers
