Salary: USD 113,000 - 149,000 / annual

The Manager, Procurement & Sourcing owns end-to-end procurement operations and product sourcing engineering, leading a team of Buyers, Sourcing Engineers, and Subcontract Managers. This role serves as the central point of contact for all supply chain needs across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, and Facilities. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals including Buyers, Sourcing Engineers, and Subcontract Managers. Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to build team capability. Hire world-class talent to support rapid team expansion. Drive organizational consistency through key performance indicators (KPIs). Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, targeting supply continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization at scale. Negotiate complex commercial terms and Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; analyze supplier data and identify opportunities to expand or consolidate the Approved Supplier List (ASL). Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including disruptions and market condition changes. Cross-Functional Execution: Lead cross-functional projects to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets in partnership with Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Manufacturing. Support engineering and manufacturing requirements and program timelines for development and production products. Collaborate with supply chain experts across the company to develop and execute supply chain best practices. Identify and execute cost reduction projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and overall supply chain performance. Operations & Compliance: Own procurement process cradle-to-grave: purchase order placement, supplier management, and resolution of downstream issues with receiving, finance, and accounting. Maintain procurement-related master data in the ERP system and support required annual audits. Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and provide regular reports to leadership on supply chain performance. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field - 5+ years of supply chain experience in progressive roles within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with focus on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly - 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial position - Experience with technical procurement, including ability to read drawings and blueprints - Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization - Familiarity with leading ERP systems - Ability to travel up to 20% - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. TS security clearance Preferred Qualifications: - MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related technical field - Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or another related industry - Exceptional analytical and organizational skills - Proven leadership in driving and influencing large teams toward common goals - Strong team player who can adapt to different roles to support team progress, including individual contributor tasks while managing a team
