Genesis Molecular AI is seeking a Manager of New Product Planning to drive commercial strategy and execution for its AI-enabled drug pipeline programs. Reporting to the Director of New Product Planning, this role bridges commercial and scientific teams to shape the positioning and development of potential new drugs.
Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis across disease areas and treatment paradigms to identify unmet needs; supporting primary and secondary research through KOL interviews, epidemiological analysis, and literature review to validate commercial assumptions; monitoring competitor pipelines, clinical readouts, and regulatory approvals to inform strategic planning; contributing commercial input to Target Product Profiles and clinical development plans (including endpoints, comparators, patient populations, and indication sequencing); and collaborating cross-functionally with discovery, preclinical development, business development, and finance teams.
The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in biology or a related life sciences field, with 1–2 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, or equity research group. Alternatively, relevant experience in new product planning, marketing, portfolio strategy, competitive intelligence, or analytical roles at pharmaceutical or biotech companies is valued. Oncology or immunology experience is a plus. Candidates should have exposure to commercial assessments for preclinical and early-stage clinical assets, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time.
