Chamber Cardio is rebuilding the system for cardiology by partnering with independent cardiologists to lead population health efforts. The Manager of Medical Economics will own the analytical function that measures whether Chamber's care model delivers better outcomes and financial performance. Reporting to the Head of Actuarial & Analytics, you will be Chamber's primary thought leader on health economics, translating complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership, payers, and partners. This is a strategic role with direct executive exposure and responsibility for scaling the Medical Economics team as the contract portfolio grows. Key responsibilities include: - Building and maintaining the infrastructure, methodology, and narratives that demonstrate program effectiveness to payers and leadership - Creating SQL-based analytic processes and dashboards across medical claims, pharmacy claims, enrollment, and attribution data - Leading primary analysis across cost trends, utilization impact, clinical effectiveness, and operational efficiency - Serving as the thought leader behind Chamber's health economics story and how success is measured and communicated - Partnering directly with senior executives as a key analytical stakeholder - Scaling the Medical Economics team and analytical platform as the business grows - Working with ambiguous data and requests to produce defensible, actionable outputs In your first 90 days, you will conduct a full audit of Chamber's health economics data landscape, develop and enhance key reporting and dashboarding for risk contracts, deliver cohort efficacy reporting on Transitions of Care and Medication Adherence, and present a structured performance review to senior leadership. Required qualifications include at least 4 years of experience in medical economics, health economics, or related analytics/actuarial roles. You must be fluent in value-based care performance metrics (TCOC, avoidable inpatient utilization, quality measures, medication adherence), proficient in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiar with CMS value-based care models and risk adjustment. You should demonstrate the ability to own analytical work end-to-end, have a high tolerance for ambiguity, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. A bachelor's degree in health economics, public health, biostatistics, or related field is required.
