As Manager of Implementation Consultants, you will lead a team deploying Samsara's connected operations platform for enterprise accounts. Your team handles hardware installation, software configuration, and system integrations for the company's largest customers. You'll improve high-touch implementation processes, provide coaching and mentorship, and build an energizing team culture.
Key responsibilities include managing team performance against KPIs and organizational OKRs; owning executive-level stakeholder relationships and leading escalation resolution for at-risk, high-ACV accounts; partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and protect renewal/expansion opportunities; coaching consultants through complex, multi-site technical implementations including hardware deployment logistics and system/API integrations; identifying and implementing process improvements for efficiency gains and increased automation; leading from the front with hands-on involvement; championing Samsara's cultural principles; and hiring, developing, and leading an inclusive, high-performing team.
Minimum qualifications: 4+ years managing services teams supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deployments; experience implementing enterprise (medium/high touch) accounts or account management programs (SaaS and/or IoT/hardware experience preferred); strong work ethic, prioritization, and emotional intelligence; experience managing escalations and executive stakeholder relationships on complex, high-value accounts; familiarity with customer success CRMs (e.g., Gainsight) and/or PSA tools; solutions-oriented problem-solving; comfort in fast-paced, change-heavy environments; strong bias for action with insistence on high standards; project/program management experience (PMP or similar) a plus; bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution.
