Salary: CAD 75,000 - 150,000 / annual

You will lead the Health Concierge - Outbound team from the Vancouver headquarters, reporting to the Director of Assisted Sales. This is a hands-on people leadership role combining sales acumen with team management judgment. You will lead and mentor Inside Sales Representatives responsible for managing incoming inquiries, generating and qualifying leads, and nurturing patient relationships. Your mandate spans team leadership, sales performance, patient experience, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Enablement:** Build, manage, and motivate a team of Inside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed targets through call shadowing, feedback, goal setting, and hands-on support. Translate shifting business priorities into clear, actionable direction. Navigate competing requests so frontline agents can focus and deliver consistent results. Remain close to the patient and work by executing core daily functions of the Inside Sales Representative role when needed.
**Sales Performance & Process Improvement:** Track and analyze key sales metrics (lead conversion, pipeline, patient engagement, service levels). Own a consistent call-review and scorecarding rhythm using approved recordings, turning themes into coaching and process improvements. Use insights to identify trends, skill gaps, and opportunities; share recommendations with Sales leadership. Work with the Head of Sales to build systems supporting continuous improvement. Set and maintain SLAs across outbound calls, chats, emails, and ad hoc work.
**Patient Experience:** Ensure the team has product and service knowledge to address inquiries efficiently and professionally. Reinforce a patient-first sales approach that builds trust and supports both short-term results and long-term scaling.
**Training & Development:** Support ongoing professional development through structured coaching, feedback, and development plans. Identify team-wide and individual learning needs, then partner with stakeholders to deliver focused training.
**Reporting & Market Insights:** Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to leadership. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, patient needs, and market dynamics; translate signals into guidance for the team and actionable feedback for Sales leadership.
**Requirements:**
- 5-8 years prior experience in a similar sales leadership role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Previous people management experience with demonstrated ability to set clear expectations, coach with empathy and candour, make sound trade-offs, hold accountability, and help people perform at their best
- Experience working in a startup or similarly fast-changing growth-stage company
- Ability to pursue a broad mandate effectively by turning direction into priorities, decisions, and sustained execution
- Experience using call recordings and scorecards to coach performance, evaluate quality, and uncover trends and insights across a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-informed approach to decision-making
- Patient-focused mindset, passion for healthcare excellence, and commitment to delivering outstanding experiences and results
- Proficiency with CRM software, call-recording or conversation-intelligence tools, and other sales technologies
- Strong documentation and technical skills, with composure, integrity, and discretion to handle sensitive information
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, translate business priorities into clear direction, connect work to business impact, maintain momentum, and keep people informed and motivated
- Disciplined prioritization and resource management; ability to manage time, attention, capacity, and resources deliberately as priorities shift
