Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 global businesses. As Manager of Growth Strategy & Operations, you'll build and run the experimentation engine driving Airwallex's global growth. You'll design and manage end-to-end execution of growth experiments and campaigns, translating strategic hypotheses into operational workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
**Experimentation & Roadmap**: Consolidate hypotheses from Commercial, Lifecycle, Growth Innovation, Product, and Marketing into a prioritized backlog. Maintain the global campaign registry and forward calendar, ranking experiments by expected impact, confidence, effort, and strategic fit.
**Experiment Design & Measurement**: Partner with campaign owners to define hypotheses, primary metrics, and target effect sizes before development. Set measurement approaches upfront—control groups, audience sizing, statistical power, and result criteria. Pressure-test feasibility across audience, budget, and technical requirements.
**Campaign Execution**: Turn approved designs into live campaigns across the Martech stack (Hightouch, Marketo, Infobip, Contentful). Produce copy and creative variants, coordinate legal approvals, run full-journey QA, apply consent and suppression rules per market, and execute rollback protocols if needed.
**Measurement & Analytics**: Own tracking taxonomy and tagging conventions. Build and maintain reporting dashboards in Hex and Looker with Data Science. Monitor performance, run ad-hoc analysis, and share learnings in cross-functional forums.
**Systems & Automation**: Identify tooling and process gaps. Codify repeatable work into checklists, QA scripts, templates, and registries. Leverage AI to scale operations while maintaining human review for customer-facing outputs.
**Budget & Forecasting**: Partner with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting. Set impact and cost targets pre-launch, manage central budget allocation, track utilization, and report actuals versus forecast.
You'll act as the operational backbone of the growth function, ensuring experiments run efficiently, dependencies are managed, and insights are captured. This role requires strong project management, analytical thinking, and the ability to balance speed with rigor while working across Commercial, Data, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing teams.
