Salary: USD 380,000 - 450,000 / annual
Anthropic is seeking a Manager for Growth Sales to lead a team of 5-10 Growth Account Executives focused on expansion and retention across AI-Native customers. This role sits on the AI-Native GTM team and involves building and developing a high-performing sales organization while establishing scalable frameworks, processes, and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of 5-10 Account Executives with regular feedback and performance guidance
- Owning team revenue targets and developing strategies to accelerate growth
- Building scalable frameworks for deal negotiations, account planning, quarterly business reviews, and customer health monitoring
- Partnering with Product, Marketing, and other GTM teams to identify strategic growth opportunities across the startup portfolio
- Monitoring customer health metrics and collaborating on action plans for at-risk accounts
- Mentoring team members in consultative sales skills, negotiation best practices, and technical understanding of AI applications
- Driving operational excellence through pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and productivity metrics
- Participating in strategic customer conversations and supporting Account Executives in complex negotiations
Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of enterprise software sales or account management experience, with 3+ years leading sales teams. You should have a proven track record of exceeding team revenue targets and developing high-performing account executives. Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and experience with high-growth technology companies is essential. Additional strengths include expertise in strategic account planning, data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and background in technical product sales (APIs, infrastructure, ML/AI solutions).
