Salary: USD 157,250 - 182,750 / annual
Extend is a post-purchase protection platform serving 1,000+ merchants across fashion, cosmetics, furniture, jewelry, electronics, and other retail verticals. The company provides AI-driven solutions for customer service, returns management, fulfillment automation, and fraud detection.
As Manager of Fraud Intelligence, you will lead a team analyzing large-scale behavioral, transactional, and interaction data to detect and prevent fraud. This is a high-ownership role where your work directly protects retailers and drives the company's bottom line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of data analysts to uncover fraud signals from hundreds of millions of transactions
- Develop monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and mitigation solutions in response to emerging fraud threats
- Own AI agent performance tracking and optimization for fraud operations
- Partner with the Machine Learning team to translate fraud findings into model features and provide feedback on model scoring
- Develop metrics and reporting to track operational efficiency and fraud savings
- Hire, mentor, and coach junior analysts; perform design and code reviews
- Work cross-functionally with leadership, fraud ops, product, and engineering to define fraud strategy
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
You bring 6+ years of fraud analytics experience (ideally e-commerce/retail), 2+ years managing analytics teams, and expertise in SQL and Python. You're analytical, data-obsessed, and skilled at uncovering patterns in complex datasets. Strong people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management are essential. Prior startup or high-growth experience is preferred.
