Rent the Runway is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join its FP&A team, which is central to strategic decision-making at the company. This role focuses on inventory-related financial analysis and will report to the Director of Strategic Finance, with one analyst reporting directly to the manager. Key responsibilities include: - Monitor and analyze business performance on a weekly cadence, providing strategic insights to leadership - Collaborate cross-functionally with inventory planning, buying, and selling teams to provide data-driven recommendations that optimize ROI and profitability - Develop strategic financial models and analysis to inform key business decisions, including new revenue streams and inventory procurement channels - Present and interpret financial data to senior leadership, partnering closely with executives to impact strategic decisions - Own the FP&A budgeting process for inventory, including annual reviews and monthly/quarterly variance analysis - Build scenario-based models linking operational drivers to financial outcomes - Analyze competitor performance and market trends - Assist in preparation of materials for earnings and board meetings - Operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment, managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines The ideal candidate will be analytically rigorous, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and capable of developing and maintaining complex financial models while demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic environment. This position has direct interaction with the C-suite and plays a vital role in achieving RTR's strategic goals.
