Freenome is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join and grow its Finance team. This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Executive Director of FP&A, focused on supporting planning for key business processes and delivering financial insights that drive organizational growth. In this role, you will serve as a dedicated financial advisor to business leaders across R&D, Commercial, and Operations, translating complex financial data into narratives that inform strategic decision-making. You will drive corporate planning processes through rigorous oversight of departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company priorities while empowering budget owners with self-service tools and appropriate financial controls. Key responsibilities include delivering effective monthly and quarterly reporting, establishing and tracking KPIs that measure financial performance and progress against strategic priorities, and identifying key business issues that impact forecasts. You will influence decisions by providing high-value financial analysis that highlights root causes of variance, trends, and actionable opportunities to invest, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. You will also lead systems innovation efforts, building and refining forecasting tools, supporting implementation of ERP and planning systems, and leveraging automation and AI to streamline reporting and improve forecast accuracy. This role requires strong collaboration across the organization to drive continuous process and systematic improvements. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; minimum 8 years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience, including at least 3 years in FP&A and/or business partnering in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Life sciences, healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, or medical device experience is preferred. You must be willing to handle large amounts of data, build complex financial models, and solve problems with a data-driven approach. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
