Addepar is a global data and AI platform serving 1,400+ firms managing nearly $9 trillion in assets across nearly 60 countries. The company unifies portfolio, market, and client data to deliver AI-powered insights within investment and client workflows.
You will lead Addepar's Field Marketing & Advocacy team, managing how the company shows up at events globally—from national industry conferences and trade shows to the annual user conference (AddeConf), executive summits, and regional community programs. You will manage a team of three: two Field Marketing Managers focused on industry events and regional activations, and a Strategic Events Program Manager overseeing client event programs.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Development:** Lead, coach, and develop your three-person team. Set clear goals, maintain high standards, establish roles and responsibilities, and ensure accountability against event targets, deadlines, and quality standards.
**Global Events Strategy & Annual Conference Management:** Manage Addepar's global events portfolio, deciding which events and programs to invest in and how to allocate team and budget resources. Align the events calendar to territory priorities, pipeline goals, product launches, and campaigns. Own end-to-end execution of AddeConf, including agenda setting, content creation, event design, logistical oversight, and pre/post-event activation. Continuously evaluate the portfolio—cutting underperformers, doubling down on what works, and identifying new opportunities.
**Cross-functional Alignment & Stakeholder Management:** Serve as the point of contact across the organization for all events. Drive alignment with Sales, Product Marketing, and Account Management teams before, during, and after each program.
**Performance Measurement & Reporting:** Own the events analytics function. Build and maintain a performance dashboard tracking KPIs: leads generated, pipeline influenced, meetings held, cost per lead, NPS, and ROI. Drive a data-informed decision-making culture.
**Budget & Operations:** Manage the full Field Marketing events budget, including allocation, spend tracking, and ROI accountability. Ensure operational excellence in procurement, vendor contracts, invoicing, compliance, and lead capture. Travel to key events domestically and occasionally internationally.
**Requirements:**

- 2+ years managing a team
- Proven experience owning a broad events portfolio (large-scale flagship conferences, executive programs, regional activations)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across complex, cross-functional organizations

- Knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, and On24 preferred
