Salary: USD 82,000 - 106,000 / annual
Glossier is seeking a Manager of Creative Operations to own end-to-end project management across all physical spaces, with Visual Merchandising as a core focus. This role manages creative intake, validation, and prioritization of requests; maintains accurate job tracking systems; develops project and campaign schedules; manages creative resources; and traffics final artwork to completion. You will work directly with the Wholesale team and external vendors/manufacturing partners, reporting to the Director of Creative Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own Visual Merchandising project management across Owned Retail and Wholesale from creative ideation through fixture development and installation
- Manage all creative requests tied to physical retail, wholesale, and experiential spaces; assess feasibility and build project timelines with clear milestones from brief intake through launch
- Extend creative operations support to print workstreams in partnership with Brand Design, including store collateral, out-of-home advertising, marketing materials, and retail deliverables
- Ensure creative materials are prepared and routed on time for cross-functional and leadership approvals; drive implementation of feedback and maintain proactive communication on approval cycles
- Serve as key point of contact with Wholesale, Retail Operations, Brand Marketing, and external manufacturing/agency partners to scope, align, and execute projects
- Partner closely with Retail Operations and Brand Marketing on flagship stores across Visual Merchandising, fabrication, and event activations; communicate timeline and budget realities clearly
- Maintain close collaboration with Copy, Design, Art Direction, and Production Design teams
- Partner with the Director of Creative Operations on process improvement and workflow implementation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Creative Operations and/or Project Management experience in full-service studio settings (in-house and/or agency), specializing in Visual Merchandising
- Beauty, Retail/Fashion, or Prestige CPG industry experience preferred
- Experience working with external Wholesale partners (e.g., Sephora, Space NK, Mecca) and manufacturing/build partners (fixtures, windows, event/experiential builds)
- Familiarity with shop drawings, CAD renderings, planograms, schematics, and fixture-related engineering drawings
- Strong grasp of print production and workflow for converting approved designs into vendor-ready mechanical artwork
- Comfort managing diverse print deliverables beyond VM: signage, out-of-home, direct mail/postcards, press materials, vouchers, and marketing/retail assets
- Experience aligning multiple stakeholders on large-scale product launches, seasonal fixture updates, new-retailer entries, and experiential/event buildouts
- Excellent scoping/estimating instincts, relationship-building, and written/visual communication skills
- Highly skilled managing multiple concurrent workstreams across retail, wholesale, events, and print production without direct reports
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and creative workflow systems (Wrike, Monday, Airtable, Asana, Figma); Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
