As Business Finance Manager, you will be part of a 50+ person Finance team spanning Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. The team includes Chartered Accountants, business experts, and engineers with experience at internationally renowned organizations.
You will serve as a financial partner to specific business units, providing insights and strategic guidance on capital allocation and financial planning. Your responsibilities include:
• Work closely with business units and actively participate in their operations
• Provide finance-side insights to various business units
• Jointly own OKRs of respective business units and build Annual Operating Plans (AOP) to achieve them
• Develop financial plans using a bottom-up approach with business and technology teams
• Review plans versus actuals regularly and conduct in-depth variance analysis
• Track and measure key financial and business metrics
• Complete account-level month-end closing reviews and corrections
• Direct and oversee revenue cycle policies, objectives, and initiatives
• Conduct scenario analysis and develop business plans for product enhancements or initiatives; present to senior management
• Handle ad hoc requests and problem-solving with short turnaround times
• Drive standardization and automation projects for process efficiency
• Conduct periodic meetings with direct reports
You will modify financial plans and budget amounts based on business plan changes, provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals, and enable actionable planning to optimize operations.
Requirements:
• 4–6 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant OR a Master's degree in Financial Management
• 3+ years of experience in Business Finance
• Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proven ability to form strong collaborations with stakeholders
