Jerry.ai is a fintech-adjacent consumer platform that started with car insurance in 2019 and has grown to 5M+ customers with $240M+ in funding. The company is now expanding into adjacent verticals (home, motorcycle, RV) to become a one-stop-shop for managing physical assets. The BizOps & Analytics team consists of former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who drive data-informed decision-making across the entire organization.
As Manager of BizOps & Analytics, you will lead the analytical function for one of Jerry's core business areas: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships. You'll be embedded within your assigned business unit and own the end-to-end analytical strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities include: defining the right business problems before diving into analysis; building metrics, reports, and experiments; surfacing data insights that move key metrics; and driving recommendations through to execution with product, growth, finance, and operations teams. You'll act as a first-principles problem solver who asks "what are we trying to solve?" before jumping to solutions.
The role is hands-on—not pure strategy. You'll combine analytical rigor with direct execution, influencing leadership-level decisions through clear communication and persuasive storytelling. The BizOps team is lean (14 people), with no corporate bloat, unnecessary meetings, or approval delays. Every person owns a critical domain.
Required: 4+ years at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth tech company; strong SQL/Python/Excel skills; track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable impact; ability to communicate complex findings clearly to skeptical stakeholders.
Tools: SQL (Clickhouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, GitHub.
Jerry values first-principles thinking, direct communication, and ownership mentality. The company became profitable in early 2024 and is scaling toward 50M customers and $10B valuation within 4 years.
