Jerry.ai is a consumer platform managing car and home ownership—insurance, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, scaled revenue 70X, and achieved profitability in early 2024. They are now expanding into adjacent verticals (home, motorcycle, RV) with a goal to reach 50M customers and become a $10B business within four years.
The Business Operations & Analytics team is composed of former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who drive data-informed decision-making across product, growth, tech, and operations. Each business unit has an embedded BizOps analyst who shapes strategic questions, pulls data, draws conclusions, and drives execution.
As Manager of BizOps & Analytics, you will lead the analytical function for one of Jerry's core business areas: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships. You will own end-to-end analytics for your domain—defining the right problems, building reports and analyses, designing experiments, and surfacing insights that move key metrics. Your role bridges strategy and execution: you'll recommend actions to product, growth, finance, and operations leaders, then drive those decisions through to completion.
You'll work with SQL (Clickhouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub. The culture emphasizes substance over process: no slide decks, no corporate bloat, and no unnecessary approvals. Every project must materially change business trajectory.
Required: 4+ years at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth tech company. You must be a first-principles thinker who breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before analyzing data. You're analytically strong (Excel, SQL, or Python), a direct communicator who can persuade skeptical stakeholders, and an owner who acts like your name is on the door. You can pull, structure, and interpret data independently and have a track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact.
