Jerry.ai is a 5M+ customer platform managing car and home assets, having scaled revenue 70X since 2019 and reached profitability in early 2024. The company is now expanding into adjacent verticals (home, motorcycle, RV) with a goal to grow from 5M to 50M customers and become a $10B business within four years.
You will join the central BizOps & Analytics team—a group of 14 analytical powerhouses, many from McKinsey, BCG, and Bain—and be embedded in one of Jerry's core business units: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships. You will own the analytical function end-to-end for your assigned business area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define the right problems: Understand what business question each analysis answers and what decision it informs; push back on flawed questions.
- Data and insights: Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface insights that move your team's key metrics.
- Drive outcomes: Bring recommendations to product, growth, finance, or operations counterparts; communicate findings clearly and drive next steps.
You will be a first-principles thinker who breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before diving into data. You are analytically strong (Excel, SQL, or Python) and comfortable pulling, structuring, and interpreting data independently. You communicate directly and persuasively, walking skeptical stakeholders through complex findings to secure buy-in. You act like an owner—if something is broken, you feel responsible for fixing it, even outside your swim lane.
The role is hands-on, not pure strategy. Your day-to-day involves surfacing analytical insights, driving decisions, and seeing them through end-to-end. The culture emphasizes no slides, no corporate fluff, and no unnecessary meetings—only work that materially changes the business trajectory.
Required: 4+ years at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth tech company. Strong analytical skills, track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact, and clear communication that influences leadership-level decisions. Tools: SQL (Clickhouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, GitHub.
