Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 / annual
Peregrine Technologies, backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, is seeking a Manager of BI + Analytics Engineering to lead the design and execution of the company's internal analytics stack. The role is foundational in shaping how data is modeled, accessed, and used across the organization.
You will own the architecture and scaling of the data warehouse to support rapid growth in the Go-To-Market and product ecosystems. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining ETL pipelines using dbt to integrate data from various tools and platforms, designing clean and reusable data models that power reporting across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams, and creating dashboards and analyses that uncover trends in revenue, product usage, and customer behavior.
Additionally, you'll establish data quality checks and alerts to ensure accurate and timely data, support planning and forecasting by partnering with teams to define KPIs and build forward-looking models, and work directly with cross-functional leaders to translate business questions into actionable insights.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring strong technical depth combined with business acumen. You'll work autonomously on end-to-end projects while maintaining excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
Required qualifications include 4+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer in a fast-growing tech environment, strong SQL and data modeling expertise, proficiency with dbt and modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect), and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, or Sigma. You must be located in San Francisco and willing to work in-office at headquarters.
