Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 / annual

As Manager, BI + Analytics Engineer, you will own the architecture and execution of Peregrine's internal analytics stack, playing a foundational role in how data is modeled, accessed, and used across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional, high-visibility role reporting to leadership and working directly with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and scaling the data warehouse to support rapid Go-To-Market and product growth
- Building and maintaining ETL pipelines using dbt to integrate data from diverse tools, apps, and third-party platforms
- Designing clean, reusable data models powering reporting across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams
- Creating dashboards and analyses that uncover trends in revenue, product usage, and customer behavior
- Implementing data quality checks and alerts to ensure accurate, timely, and trustworthy data
- Supporting planning and forecasting by partnering with teams to define KPIs and build forward-looking models
You'll be a hands-on builder comfortable with ambiguity, translating business questions into clean data pipelines, and shaping the future of data infrastructure at a growing company. The role requires strong technical depth combined with business acumen and excellent cross-functional communication.
Required qualifications: 4+ years as a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer in fast-growing tech; strong SQL and data modeling expertise; proficiency in dbt, modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect); experience with BI tools (Looker, Hex, Mode, Sigma, or similar); ability to balance technical excellence with speed and impact; autonomous project ownership; and excellent communication skills translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Must be located in New York, NY and willing to work in office four days per week.
