Salary: USD 315,000 - 380,000 / annual

Anthropic is seeking a Manager of Applied AI Architecture for Healthcare & Life Sciences to lead a pre-sales Solutions Architect team. You will drive adoption of frontier AI products (Claude Code, Cowork, Claude Science, and the Claude API) in partnership with account executives across healthcare verticals including payers, providers, life sciences, and medtech. Key responsibilities include hiring and managing a team of Solutions Architects, providing technical guidance and career development, setting performance goals in collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams, and acting as a technical sponsor for high-value strategic customers. You will advise customers on AI adoption strategies and use-case scoping, partner with sales leadership to identify new adoption strategies within verticals, work with product and engineering teams to address customer feedback and adoption blockers, and travel to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions and relationship building. Additionally, you will establish a shared vision for creating safe and beneficial AI solutions, contribute to thought leadership through presentations and content, and stay current with emerging AI trends. Required qualifications: 7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role; 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience; proven success selling complex technical products to Healthcare and Life Sciences companies; deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases and API integrations; understanding of consumption-based business models; ability to build and scale teams in fast-moving environments; excellent communication and coaching abilities; strong executive presence; high-level familiarity with LLM architecture and operation; and passion for safe, beneficial AI. Strong candidates will have 5+ years leading solution architect teams through hypergrowth (10–50+ people), hands-on experience with AI platforms and enterprise integration patterns with C-level engagement in $10M+ deals, and demonstrated success in healthcare GTM across payers, providers, life sciences, or medtech.
