As Manager of Agent Architecture, you will lead a team of Agent Architects responsible for designing and deploying AI agents that transform customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you remain deeply involved in customer delivery while building and coaching your team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership**: Hire and develop Agent Architects at all levels. Conduct weekly 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations. Set onboarding expectations and coach team members on prompt engineering, conversation design, and customer-facing judgment.
**Capacity & Stakeholder Management**: Define team goals and OKRs aligned with Professional Services priorities. Manage workload across concurrent customer engagements, surface resourcing tradeoffs early, and represent the team to Sales, Product, Engineering, customers, and partners.
**Hands-on Delivery**: Personally guide customers through AI agent implementations from strategy through execution. Serve as the escalation point for agent performance issues and complex customer situations.
**Quality & Best Practices**: Define quality standards for agent delivery, enforce them through review processes, and ensure consistency across all live projects. Document best practices and translate field problems into structured product feedback.
You bring 3+ years of conversation design and AI agent development experience, with a proven track record building scalable solution architecture grounded in real user needs. You have strong prompt engineering skills, can integrate REST APIs, and work comfortably with JavaScript. You've led people formally as a manager or informally through sustained mentorship, with strong project and stakeholder management skills honed through enterprise customer work. You demonstrate sound judgment on capacity and prioritization, and can clearly communicate what your team can and cannot absorb.
