Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, AI, autonomy, and computer vision. The company is preparing for potential IPO and experiencing rapid expansion. You will build and lead the intercompany and intracompany accounting function, owning the month-end close and reporting infrastructure. This is a build seat focused on establishing processes, systems, and controls for a fast-scaling organization managing increasingly complex intercompany relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end intercompany and intracompany accounting: design and maintain the intercompany framework, process transactions, reconcile balances, and drive timely elimination entries across all entities and business units. - Own methodology and execution of corporate cost passdowns, intracompany allocations, shared-service allocations, and management fee structures, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements (CAS/FAR). - Maintain legal entity structure in the ERP and ensure new entities are set up with proper charts of accounts, intercompany agreements, and elimination hierarchies. - Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for intercompany and intracompany accounts, delivering journal entries, accruals, and flux analysis on the close calendar. - Prepare and review consolidation schedules, intercompany elimination entries, and related footnotes and disclosures for financial reporting. - Review balance sheet reconciliations for intercompany and intracompany accounts on a timely basis, and research and resolve variances. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, setting priorities, reviewing work, and building bench strength as the intercompany portfolio grows. - Help implement new systems or improve efficiencies with current systems to support continued company and team growth, including intercompany billing platforms and consolidation tools. - Help build and maintain SOX-ready process documentation and key controls over intercompany transactions, intracompany allocations, and eliminations in support of public company readiness. - Serve as the primary owner of external audit requests covering intercompany and intracompany accounts, including PBC schedules, walkthroughs, and technical accounting memos. - Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal on transfer pricing, entity rationalization, and intercompany agreements. - Demonstrate a "no job too small" mentality and be curious and helpful to others. Required Qualifications: - Experience managing or overseeing multi-entity intercompany accounting and consolidation processes is required. - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. - 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct people management experience. - Working knowledge of consolidation standards — ASC 810 (consolidations) and intercompany elimination frameworks. - Highly detail-oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP. - Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth organization. - Able to get your hands dirty to drive organizational change while also maintaining an ability to manage against strategic priorities and reporting. - Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities. Preferred Qualifications: - CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA. - Prior experience in companies in tech or advanced manufacturing. - Familiarity with CAS, FAR, or DFARS cost accounting requirements. - Healthy mix of technical accounting and operational accounting.
