Salary: USD 105,060 - 123,600 / annual
Coinbase's Litigation team is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support regulatory and consumer litigation operations across the globe. This role focuses on processing civil subpoenas, summons, garnishments, levies, account freezes, and third-party legal requests while supporting customer arbitrations and active litigation matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and coordinating timely, accurate responses to domestic and international subpoenas, summons, levies, liens, bankruptcies, garnishments, and other civil third-party requests
- Communicating with opposing counsel and government agencies regarding third-party requests, partnering with attorneys to resolve questions and escalate complex matters
- Assisting with preparing and filing pleadings and case materials, providing paralegal support for active litigation and arbitration matters in state and federal court
- Maintaining accurate matter records, tracking deadlines, and managing high volumes of concurrent legal requests across multiple jurisdictions
- Identifying workflow improvements and contributing to process enhancements that increase team efficiency and accuracy
- Supporting litigation and legal operations projects including tool implementations, vendor evaluations, and policy rollouts
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience with hands-on processing of civil subpoenas, summons, levies, liens, garnishments, and third-party legal requests
- Experience supporting litigation and/or arbitration matters, including preparing case materials, pleadings, filings, and discovery
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of concurrent matters and deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Direct communication experience with attorneys, government agencies, opposing counsel, and external stakeholders in writing and verbally
- Familiarity with legal technology platforms for case management, document review, and e-discovery workflows
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight
