Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a Legal Operations Director to lead and transform the legal department's operational infrastructure. This role reports to the General Counsel and owns the strategic and tactical execution of legal operations across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Streamline and improve legal operations by identifying inefficiencies and establishing scalable workflows across contract management, outside counsel management, litigation support, knowledge management, entity management, IP protection, and legal support delivery.
• Manage all legal technology platforms including e-billing systems, contract lifecycle management (Ironclad), legal intake systems, and other operational tools.
• Develop and execute cost-saving strategies to optimize outside counsel engagement and reduce overall legal spend while maintaining service quality.
• Analyze legal department metrics and KPIs through dashboards and reporting, translating data into actionable improvements in process, technology, and team capability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance departmental efficiency through process refinement, technology implementation, and team training.
• Oversee day-to-day legal department operations, serve as a system-wide liaison, and monitor service levels and system performance to ensure user satisfaction and compliance.
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5-7 years of in-house legal operations experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance productivity and automate workflows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands-on experience with Ironclad, Brightflag, and ClickUp
