Salary: USD 88,000 - 150,000 / annual
Affirm is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Analyst II to support its Legal Platform Services, including Vendor Legal, Marketing Legal, and Commercial Legal teams. This role drives contract operations and technology initiatives across multiple legal functions, partnering with stakeholders in Legal, Finance, Product, Business Systems, Procurement, and other departments to optimize workflows and streamline processes.
Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing the Ironclad CLM platform (system administration, workflow configuration, template management, approval routing, and integrations with Zip and Salesforce); overseeing contract database management for data integrity and reporting accuracy; developing technical solutions for contract intake, triage, and lifecycle management; partnering with cross-functional teams on system integrations, API connections, and technical troubleshooting; creating training materials, playbooks, and documentation; owning end-to-end process improvement initiatives; building department-wide reports and dashboards with detailed metrics; supporting audits and data field reviews; and maintaining knowledge management systems including FAQs, intranet hubs, process documents, and template libraries.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of in-depth experience in contract management, legal operations, or contract technology administration, with advanced proficiency in Ironclad, Zip, and similar CLM/procurement platforms. Additional experience with Jira, Salesforce, Notion, Google, and Contentful is valued. You should demonstrate success implementing legal technology solutions and process automation, comfort with data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making, strong project management skills, and in-house legal team experience at fast-paced companies. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a strong bias for action. This is primarily a legal operations and technology role; it does not involve substantive legal negotiation or serving as primary counsel.
