Datadog is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to join the Legal Operations subgroup. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization to support the scalability and efficiency of the global legal team. The Legal team at Datadog supports rapid growth by providing comprehensive legal services across a dynamic technology company—from contract management and compliance to intellectual property protection. The legal function collaborates with virtually every team in the organization, including engineering, product, and marketing.
In this role, you will partner with legal and non-legal process owners to drive process improvements, optimization, and automation initiatives. You'll assist technical teams in implementing solutions and troubleshooting issues reported by the legal team. You will maintain knowledge resources for all legal subgroups and collaborate on various cross-functional projects as needed.
Key responsibilities include conducting vendor and customer sanction screenings to identify potential risks and ensure compliance, analyzing data to drive initiatives and support planning, and becoming a superuser of systems utilized by the legal team. You will serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns while providing timely updates and escalating matters appropriately. You'll also handle ad hoc projects within the legal subgroups as they arise.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, or project management
- Proficiency with tools including Google Workspace, Brightflag, Docusign, Salesforce, Coupa, Confluence, Jira, and Office365
- Passionate about exploring and learning new technology
- Ability to move forward in times of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge
- Effective communicator with strong attention to detail
- High integrity and strong judgment
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
