As Legal Engineering Manager for APAC, you will lead and grow Harvey's pre-sales legal engineering team based in Singapore. This role provides senior leadership and strategic direction to Legal Engineers—skilled lawyers from top-tier firms or in-house teams—who sit at the heart of Harvey's commercial motion.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Legal Engineers with clear performance expectations and high-trust culture
- Owning the quality and consistency of pre-sales legal engineering, ensuring demos, discovery conversations, and deal support meet the highest standard
- Partnering with Account Executives and GTM leadership to prioritize deal strategy and support conversion on complex opportunities
- Engaging directly with lawyers at prospective customers to understand and address workflow challenges
- Collaborating with Product and Marketing to feed field insights into positioning, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy
- Leading tailored product demonstrations for various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams
- Acting as "Voice of the Customer," using legal perspective to develop effective sales strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team
- Occasional travel to customer offices and company locations
You bring 7+ years post-qualification experience as a qualified lawyer in law firm or in-house environments, with proven team management experience and a track record of developing talent and driving performance. You have deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience running training, workshops, or client-facing product sessions, are essential. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
