Coupa Software is seeking a Legal Director to lead commercial legal operations across the DACH region and broader EMEA. This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the Head of Legal EMEA, with the possibility of visiting the office depending on location.
You will serve as the primary legal counsel for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) while providing support across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. The role combines strategic legal leadership with hands-on commercial law expertise, managing complex cross-border transactions, regulatory compliance, and commercial negotiations.
Coupa is a leading spend management platform powered by AI, serving over 10 million buyers and suppliers globally. The company processes trillions of dollars in spend data annually and uses AI to help enterprises optimize procurement, reduce costs, and improve margins. Key responsibilities include advising on commercial contracts, managing legal risk across the region, supporting M&A and partnership activities, ensuring regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions, and building relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, and finance. You'll work closely with the global legal team while maintaining autonomy over DACH/EMEA matters.
