Revolut is seeking a Corporate Governance Legal Counsel to support its rapidly expanding fintech operations in Colombia. This role is central to ensuring the organization complies with local and group-wide regulations while keeping board members and supervisory bodies informed of their legal responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert governance support to supervisory and management bodies and their committees
- Preparing board meeting agendas, circulating meeting packs, participating in meetings, drafting minutes, and tracking action items
- Communicating effectively at the executive level to ensure strong local governance and alignment across the group
- Arranging execution of corporate documents including shareholder resolutions, KYC documents, extracts, and regulatory applications
- Assisting the Legal team in ensuring local management and supervisory bodies comply with relevant Colombian legislation and regulations
- Overseeing statutory registers, files, and filings with relevant company registers
- Delivering high-impact governance initiatives and cross-functional roadmaps
- Representing Revolut in Colombia with third parties such as legal registers, notaries, and public institutions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law with valid professional license
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant corporate governance or legal role
- Solid understanding of corporate governance, company law, and conflict of interest management
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to lead board and committee arrangements and draft clear minutes
- In-depth knowledge of the Colombian Commercial Code (Código de Comercio) and local Superintendence regulations
- Ability to own legal entity compliance with minimal support
- Strong client delivery focus, resilience, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills
Nice-to-have experience includes financial services or technology background, and prior experience managing legal or governance entities in Colombia.
