Salary: EUR 2,600 - 3,200 / monthly
FYUL (formed in 2024 through the merger of Printful, Printify, and Snow Commerce) is a fast-growing global on-demand commerce platform powering merch and custom products at scale. We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team and lead compliance and ESG initiatives across our international operations.
In this role, you will conduct legal research to identify applicable legislation and outline compliance requirements to support business decisions. You'll ensure our compliance efforts adhere to global, regulatory, and industry standards while collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, HR&ESG, Platform, Product, and Marketing teams. You will provide timely legal advice on international matters, helping the organization understand, assess, and manage legal risks across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include leading compliance-related projects, establishing and reviewing internal processes that require legal support, and actively participating in calls with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and partners across time zones to provide legal guidance and assist in negotiations. You will also oversee compliance-related document management systems and processes.
The role offers flexibility: work remotely or from our modern office in Riga with flexible hours (start as late as 11 AM). You'll be part of a global, inclusive team that values continuous learning, high work ethic, and collaborative problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience, ideally combining in-house and law firm roles
- University degree in law (Mag. iur.) required; LL.M. from a U.S. university is a strong advantage
- Experience with the U.S. market or international business environment, particularly in compliance roles
- Solid understanding of civil law and compliance-related work (due diligence, compliance framework drafting/assessment)
- Experience or familiarity with ESG-related legislation, especially PPWR/EPR, ESPR, and EmpCo directive
- Efficient communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in fast-paced environments
- Interest in or experience with legal technology tools and curiosity about print-on-demand and e-commerce industries
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
